Social Media Tool Links

Canva

Canva makes it simple to design posts, social media banner images, thumbnails, print materials, digital downloads, and they recently added video.

There really is no better tool than Canva for digital marketing AND it's completely free! That being said I do recommend the paid version. Yes, its worth it!

Calendars

A huge portion of the holiday calendar events are located in your Social Media Tool Kit which you can download using the link at the top of this page.

This link includes A LOT more options. The social media tool kit makes it easier becuase it narrows down the options.

Health Care Holidays
Linktree

Linktree was designed to be used for your Instagram profiles. Since IG and TikTok don't allow links in their posts, this tool makes it easy to direct people to different links based on the posts you may share.

It can also be used as a business card to easily share links to all your website and social accounts.

Core Value Examples (indeed)

Social Media Scheduling Apps

Meta Business Suite

Pros: It's easy to use, free, and it works really well for uploading video content.

Cons: It only works for Facebook and Instagram.

Meta Business Suite (FREE)
Buffer

Pros: Affordable option and can schedule across multiple social media platforms.

Cons: Does not work well for video over 1 min or any videos being scheduled for linked in.

Buffer (FREE)
Hootsuite

Pros: It's the only platform that allows you to schedule Linked In videos. Another huge plus is that you can schedule TikTok and Instagram Reels. Plus it gives you data and analytics.

Cons: It's more costly with the lowest package being $49 a month.

Hootsuite ($49 a month)

Video Messaging Tools

Loom

Loom is a video platform for recording, but what makes Loom different is that it's specifically designed for sending it out to individual (not for the public).

With Loom, you can record it from your phone or you can record it from the computer which is nice because when you're working, you're at your desk, it makes it easy for you to record and then send this message to friends, caregivers, employees and referral sources.

It makes it easy and gives you a link that you can send via email, social media, or text message.

When we use Loom, it actually will track whether or not they actually watched the video and you actually get a notification.

VideoAsk

Want more video reviews? VideoAsk will be your new best friend. All you have to do is send your clients a link.

Also, the app automatically transcribes the video message so you can use the video message as a written testimonials as well. Oh, and its FREE!

Bonjoro

One of the coolest apps for sending customized video messages. You can use this for new clients, caregiver applicants, and referral sources.

It sends the video via email, tracks if the video was viewed, has customized branding and you can add a call to action.

Video Editing Tools

Camtasia

If you want to upgrade your videos, I highly recommend Camtasia. There are some really good editing platforms out there like Final Cut and Adobe Premier, but I have found there to be a huge learning curve. Plus they make you buy the subscription so you pay every month.

Camtasia has a free trial and then its a one time fee. Plus, its super easy to use! It has a ton of cool features and has way more customizations then iMovie or any of the other free/cheaper options.

InShot

We often create videos on the go, so its nice to have a reliable editing tool on your phone. Really great for creating quick IG Reels and TikToks!

InShot has so many incredible features to make simple and easy to give your videos that extra touch.

It's also has a one time purchase option and yes its worth it!

InShot (Phone app editing software)
Rev

The majority of video content is watched without sound. Rev makes it easy to get subttiles for your videos.

In addition, you can use the transcriptions of your videos and repurpose them into blogs and social media posts.

Lapel Mic For iPhone

If you're going to be recording video from your phone - you want to make sure you have clear audio. Lapel mics are the way to go!

For iPhone ONLY

Lavalier Wireless Microphone for iPhone (single)
Lavalier Wireless Microphone for iPhone (double)
Lapel Mic USB-C and USB
Mic For Computer

If you're going to be recording video on your computer, there are 2 options I recommend.

One is a lapel mic and the other is a podcast style microphone.

Lavalier Microphone for Computer
Podcast Microphone for Computer
Podcast Microphone for Computer with Arm
Webcam: Logitech C920S HD Pro Webcam

Want to record some great videos on your computer? What is great about this particular model is that you can attach it to your computer or a tripod.

So you can record just as you would a phone or DSLR camera, but you don't have to worry about downloading or transferring files.

This is also great for improving your live videos on social and zoom meetings. You will be shocked when you see the difference it makes!

Backdrops

I generally don't recommend using green screens because they can be a lot of work in post if you don't have the right lighting, but if you want to get fancy - this is the my favorite.

It collapses for easy storage and comes with a stand to set up incredibly easy. Plus it has blue screen on the other side for when you want to wear green.

Perfect for those zoom call backgrounds without half your arm disappearing!

QR Code Generator

QR Codes have been around a long time, but most people didn't know how to use them. However, one of the results of the Covid 19 pandemic, QR codes have become a part of our culture.

They should be used in ALL of your print marketing efforts. If you're printing something it likely has a link so let's make it as easy as possible for them to get there!
