Times are changing and its time for you to change with it. On this week's episode of Digital Champion, I discuss How To Market Your Business In 2020.

In today's ever-changing world, things that used to work don't work anymore. What are you doing to stand out?

The one thing that you need to do is you need to create content. Prove that you are the expert, you know what you're talking about. There's tons of competition out there regardless of what you do. And to be able to stand out, people need to know you, like you, and trust you, and that comes from providing valuable information on a consistent, consistent, basis.

No matter what industry you're in, you need to show people that you know what you're talking about. What makes you different? Why should I listen to what you have to say? Why should I trust you with my money? Prove to me that you can do the job that I am hiring you to do.

No matter what it is that you do, for example, if you're in real estate, you can teach people about how to find a house, how things, different things that you look for, that will help them, and then they're gonna say, wow, that was really good information.

I wanna go with them, vs. the hundreds of millions of real estate agents out there. How are you standing out from them? If you're a coach and consultant, how are you providing the information?

Why should someone work with you, when you aren't proving that you know what you're talking about? Yeah, you can have some stuff on your website, but give them valuable information, and don't be afraid to share it.

Don't keep that information that you have locked up, because at the end of the day, people are gonna need your help to implement the things that you're teaching. They're gonna need your help, they're gonna need your coaching.

Look, I'm gonna talk about a lot of things that are video and social media marketing, but guess what. You're gonna need some help to implement it, because there's a ton of information. No matter what it is.

If you're a financial planner, I'm gonna be giving you my money? Prove to me that I know what you're gonna do with it, not talk about how old the company is, things of that sort that don't really matter. Show me that you are a master of money. And that when I give you my money, I am going to be happy about it. I'm gonna get my return on my investment. Prove to me that you are an expert.

By creating content, you're creating credibility, and the more consistent that you create this information and create this content, it's going to add to credibility, but you have to consistently put out content where you're educating your audience.
