How can we be different?

I've got news for you.

Your customer service, it's not your differentiator.

Your services, not your differentiator.

Your product, still no.

There's a better product out there. Better service out there than what you're offering. Better customer service out there, I promise you. Yep. Sorry. Yes, just the cold hard facts.

So what is your biggest differentiator?

It's you! You are the only thing that is different and unique about your business that no one else can ever replicate. No one else can compete with being you. You are unique in your own way. Even your twin brother if you had a twin brother is not like you. Cloning doesn't exist yet, so you don't have to worry about that, all right?

Nobody can replicate being you and understanding that this is your greatest weapon. This is your greatest marketing material, but here's the caveat. You have to want to be able to expose yourself and be different.

I've talked about this before in videos, I do weird goofy superhero costume effects because I think it's funny, and I like that stuff. I am a nerd when it comes to all of this stuff. So that's just me. That's what makes me different.

I wanted to utilize that unique thing about me and incorporate that into my marketing effort. If you're good at playing guitar, incorporate that. Not many people are going to be playing guitar, and then also providing educational content. It's very unique.

There are comedians that have made money off of like playing music while they do comedy. It's unique, it's different.

How can you be different?

How can you utilize your unique skills or your unique interests?

Side note: making video and social media content a lot more fun when it's involved things that you're interested in, that you enjoy doing.

But understanding that no one is like you. And the more that you can be you and vocalize you and share your message and share your viewpoints and share what makes you different is going to be what separates you from everyone else.

Go out there, be different dare to be different and step out into the spotlight, share your uniqueness, your weirdness, if you have it.

I certainly don't care about sharing my weirdness and people can relate to that. So understand that, get out there, make it happen. I look forward to seeing how you were different.
