What NOT To Do

First thing is, we do not want to keep sharing post after post about jobs opportunities. This is a big mistake for 2 reasons.

When you're just posting a regular social media post, that is only going to your followers. And unless you have a flooded followers of caregivers, it's not going to work.

It's more likely that people following your page are clients, friends of yours, family. And yes, they may share that post but sharing a job post actually gets in front of more people. Is it good to mix in occasionally, yes but it should be done with other valuable content.

However, if you want to get better results, you want to create actual...

Whenever you go to Amazon, what's the first thing that you look at?

You look at the reviews, right? Have you ever done this?

I was having a conversation with my brother and he was looking to buy a ski goggles and I made a comment on a pair he was considering and said "what only 25 reviews, don't even bother."

When it comes to Amazon you're always looking for somebody that has an immense amount of reviews. You want that social proof or lots of people saying "hey, this is a quality product(or service)."

There's so many people that have said it look it's the strength in the numbers. Getting more of those five star reviews is essential
piece to getting better results.

How To Stand Out From Your Competition in Home Care

Time and time again home care businesses wonder why they are struggling. The problem is that every home care company offers the same services. Which in some cases means prospects are only shopping for price.

So what can you do to stand out?

When it comes to marketing your business you want to be different and you have to stand out.

In Home Care, your competitors offer the same services as you, so how can you be different when you're offering the same services as everyone else?

Establish Your Specialization/Niche

One example that many of my clients focus on is being an expert in Dementia.

Are you good at dementia?

Is that something that you want to be known for?

It is critical that you choose something to specialize in so that you can establish a differentiation from competitors in your area.

Objections To Specialization

Yes, we want to help people, but when there's so many options and...

How Often To Post On Social Media?

As a home care business owner you are told to post to social media but what often happens is you start making a bunch of posts and then don't post for a months. Let's dive into how often you should post.

The first thing is consistency!

Consistency, Consistency, Consistency

That is the most important thing is that you are consistent. Often I see many homecare
businesses owners that don't have a plan, don't have a strategy, and are just sporadically posting.

It is essential that you are doing it in a regular basis!

We want to avoid posting five days in a row and then not posting for in three months.

That's not gonna work!

We need to remain consistent, so less is more. I would rather you actually create less content and do it consistently rather than trying to do too much and not being able to do it consistently.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT DO

I know that recruitment is a huge part but I see many owners who are damaging their social media because they are just...

Should You Outsource Social Media?

Should you outsource social media? (This includes allowing your franchise to handle your social as well.) Let's dive in!

Here's the thing when it comes to when companies outsource their social media. What often happens is that when you outsource social media to a company - there's a huge likelihood that you're having similar posts as all their other clients.

Is this what you want? Do you wanna be like everyone else?

I've seen this time and time again where home care companies hire a social media company beucase they don't want to deal with it and then they wonder why they don't get any results from it.

These agencies post the same exact content and if that is the case then you are wasting money!

If you're posing the same content as someone else, do you think that's gonna get results? No, we wanna be different, right?

When it comes to your social media, we need to be different! We need to do things that are going to stand out as well as properly represent our brands and...
